All booked travel is subject to our normal terms and conditions.
Europe Travel Planning
AS OF August 12, 2021
The following information has been compiled to assist with your travel planning. Due to the rapidly changing conditions across Europe, regulations and restrictions adopted by individual countries may change without advance notice. As a result, go-today has made every effort to confirm that the information in this Travel Planning section is accurate as of the above date, but cannot guarantee accuracy after that date. Please regularly consult the links below to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about entry requirements. Go-today is not responsible for costs associated with passengers being denied entry due to not meeting requirements for travel.
Most European countries are requiring the following from arriving visitors:
- One or more of the following:
- Proof of full vaccination with a CDC approved vaccine from at least 14 days prior to arrival
- Proof of having recovered from COVID-19
- Proof of a recent Negative COVID-19 test
- Individual countries may have additional requirements
- Completion of an online Passenger Locator Form (PLF). Most countries require the form to be filled out online between 24-72 hours prior to arrival
IMPORTANT: Although many countries have reopened their borders to international travelers, conditions have not yet returned to the way things were prior to the pandemic, and the travel experience may be different. Local businesses, attractions, restaurants and service levels will likely not be the same as they were pre-COVID. Go-today does confirm services prior to departure, however, staffing reductions in Europe and frequently changing COVID restrictions could impact the service delivery of our partners.
Hotels and local businesses may have additional testing requirements for travelers who are NOT Vaccinated, please review the links below carefully. For greater protection and to reduce the need for additional testing while in destination, it is recommended that all travelers are fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to departure.
If you do not have a flexible-mindset, consider delaying your travels to allow local restrictions to be further relaxed, and more local businesses and suppliers to fully reopen.
Please continue to consult the provided links up until your departure for the most up-to-date information about the country/countries you're planning to visit.
Conditions for Travel with go-today
Go-today has made the decision to allow existing bookings to travel, or to take new bookings for travel prior to September 1st if the bookings meet the following conditions:
- US/CANADIAN leisure travelers are permitted to enter ALL countries on their itinerary
- The destinations on the itinerary have no lengthy mandatory quarantine requirements or significant restrictions on movement
New bookings will be taken for departure to countries that meet the above requirement based on the later of the following:
- Two weeks from the booking confirmation date, or
- Two weeks from the official open date for North Americans
Travel to all other countries is currently accepted for departure from September 1st onward.
Countries currently available to book for travel prior to September 1st
Several countries have announced the reopening of their borders over the past couple weeks. As of the date at the top of this page, the countries below are available to book based on the above criteria, unless otherwise stated.
Day of arrival Sightseeing and Activities
Due to potential delays at passport control on arrival, we strongly advise to not book sightseeing/activities on the day of arrival. If these services are missed due to delays on arrival, suppliers will deem them non-refundable.
International COVID Testing Locations
As of Jan 26, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention expanded the requirement for a negative COVID-19 test to all air passengers entering the United States, including US Citizens, taken within 3 days of departure from a foreign destination. The following links can assist with finding an appropriate testing location for your clients while they are in Europe, by using the city and/or post code where they will be on the final days of their trip. Travelers may also request information about local testing sites from the front desk or concierge at their hotel.
